Stephana said: I notice you use a lot of cashews/cashew butter – I happen to be allergic to cashews and I was wondering if there is another nut you might recommend – I have tried macadamia – but I found it to be a bit too strong a flavor to substitute it for all the recipes where cashew is called for. I use almonds in almost every other dish so I’d like to avoid that one. What would you suggest? Thanks in advance!
therawchef said: You could use pecans. Or if you use macadamias soak them overnight first to get rid of the taste.

Joanne said: Great video! I love love love the idea of a DVD series or downloadable videos. Only thing… you might want to check on the volume quality control of the videos. This one did have a lot spots that I had to strain to hear your voice or have my computer blaring.. which meant turning turning it up and down all the time when the blender was on. Very interested to see more thought! Thanks.
Miko said: You are, by far, the best raw food instructor I have ever seen (and met (I had the opportunity to meet you in New York)) and your friendly, humble disposition (as talented as you are) compliments your appealing, creative dishes! Keep up the good work, James, God bless you and stay humble. I am soooooo proud of your accomplishments. I can’t wait to make this!!!!!!!!! I’m hoping to one day soon buy your DVD sets. I missed the great opportunity to by it through the layaway plan. :(.

therawchef said: Yes, that’s of the advantages of the online version – no tax or shipping.
Guest said: You always remind me of Gary Rhodes….don’t know if it’s your very precise movements, or what! Take that as a compliment please…I think he is a master of what he does.
therawchef said: I’ll take that as a compliment :)
Elena said: Didn’t expect to come back so soon, but I have a question. What was that thing on the table
next to the VitaMix? I mean the glass container with some liquid standing upside down on the white bowl?
therawchef said: That’s the springwater that I collect locally. That whole thing is the dispenser.
Barbara Lowell said: Very wonderful video, as usual but there seemed to be a lot of side comments I could not make out, I shut off my room fan and kinda strained to hear. Maybe my laptop doesn’t go loud enough for this episode??? I had volume all the way up. Most of it I did hear ok but seemed unusually soft. Regardless wonderful. Thank you.

Mamoo said: This looks so good. I can’t wait to try this. I do have a question, I was told not to long ago that cacao is not a healthy chocolate product. Is there a particular kind of cacao that you would recommend. I will be looking for this to try soon.
therawchef said: I would get a raw cacao powder such as the one from www.ultimatesuperfoods.com
Min said: Great idea to have the Homestudy DVDs online! Would love to be able to pick and choose the DVDs I’d like to watch, purchase. The pricing structure can include sets of pre-selected DVDs and an option to allow one to custom select the DVDs. Looking forward to this online course. Thanks!
